A drum roll? Not sure I can live up to that.

Though I know the song, I only had some vague idea about what a sloop is (I knew it was a boat), so I looked it up. All those massively expensive America's Cup yachts that will be visiting Valencia shortly are apparently sloops. But my favorite is the undoubtedly the 'J boats' (yes, my initials) that were raced in the Twenties. Apparently very fast but always capsized - they were outlawed by the yachting authorities because they couldn't even be classed as seaworthy. It seems they were fine if you pointed them in the right direction then hung on and hoped. Sounds like my approach to most things.
