Obama Farrago - Sweder - 21-01-2009
A place for Obama-mania, presidential twitchers and occasional pieces on the New Mesiah.
Here's a piece from today's Times. It was accompanied by two excellent photos - sadly not to be found on the www as yet.
Dick Cheney, the outgoing Vice-President, had a less happy experience. He injured his back carrying boxes on Monday night and appeared at the inauguration in a wheelchair. Some observers remarked that he bore more than a passing resemblance to the eponymous crazed scientist in Stanley Kubricks film Dr Strangelove.

Excellent observation about Cheney. I thought he looked utterly sinister in that wheelchair.
