Christmas Greetings - Mid Life Crisis Marathon Man - 23-12-2008

Just popped in to wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas.

The silly season has caught up with me and I've been very busy of late, and immediately after Christmas (leaving 6 am Boxing Day) I head up the Murray River as part of the land crew for a Murray Marathon kayak team - the MM being an annual 400+km kayak race along Australia's biggest river. Hard work, but great fun. No internet, though.

Main running news is that in a few weeks I am moving house and have been scouting out running routes in my new area, and found a beauty! So am looking forward to reporting back on that next year.

Meantime have a great festive season and I'll see you all anon.

Smile

Cheers Blue. Enjoy MM - I recall that being a bit of a trial for all concerned but as you say, terrific sport. Shame there isn't more time to discuss the merits of Tendalkar's ton or indeed that remarkable Protean run-chase . . . Wink

Have a good one.
