almost gave me a connery this evening.

I tried out the running partner properly, and programmed in 5k in 30 minutes! It was only afterwards that I read that one is supposd to run with him, not tear off and try to beat him.

I belted out the first mile in 7.43 mins in the vain hope that I'd be able to jog home well ahead. Stagger-home-with-thighs-on-fire more like, beating him with 2 mins 14 secs to spare! That's around (or just under) 9 minute miling, which for me is counted as speedwork!

3 measley miles and I'm almost crying by the end. It had better be doing me some good I can tell ya! Sad

7:43 - surely it was downhill! That's way too fast for a flat run!
