Chris's forum - sad duty - El Gordo - 08-09-2009

This is the saddest question I have ever asked here, but can I canvass opinion please on what we should do with Moyleman's forum? The options include:
  • Keeping it as it is i.e. a postable, visible forum
  • Keeping it visible, but locking it so that no new posts can be added
  • Archiving it i.e. removing it from sight but keeping it stored

There are probably other options too.

I need to balance the wish for a 'tribute' against considerations of good taste and respectfulness.

All opinions welcome, though I think I will have to take most notice of those closest to him -- Sweder incuded.

Thanks.

I agree and think that Moylebird should decide.

For what it's worth, I think the threads should be left up, but closed to new posts.

I agree with SP... which I think is a first for me.

Gotta say the Big Man has it right: open to read, but not to post.
Chris would like the idea of loitering in the forums, and I for one love to revisit his old posts with a pint of the black stuff.

It's like he never went away Smile

Agree that this seems the best option. I've locked the forum.
