Wed 8th : Ilkley Incline

A mile uphill on Ilkley Moor. B'ah t'at if tha must know. Quite a lung buster. Not a great run as I've done precious little hill work lately. But good to have a pint of Ilkley Gold from this fine local brewery.

Put in a leg for the B team over 4 miles. This is a game for people who are a. Young or b. Thin. Neither of which applies to me at the moment. A difficult run.

Sun 12th September : Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon

I marshalled at this event; on the Half at Oxenhope. Was an eye opener seeing all the back-room organisation needed for a big event like this. Great day.
