On the dangers of running - The Beast of Bevendean - 23-12-2010
In the spirit of the festive period, I spent some time looking at some of the more unusual running related conditions documented in the medical databases.

I slipped out for a traditional Yuletide Plod and very nearly ran into Penile Frostbite. I concur with Hershkowitz; it was certainly unexpected, as was the soul-chilling wind slicing out of the west.
Of more concern was the polished glass covering on the well-trod footpaths. Only the relatively un-touched frost-coated snow offered sure footing.
Hmm. I guess I should blog about it really (reaches for another slug of Mimosa, nearly misses, grabs it on the way back).
