Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Simon Ho - 24-09-2008 Is anyone doing this? Hopefully I should be out for a run this Sunday, see you at the marina. Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Sweder - 24-09-2008 The Lardiest Man In The World TM will be there. Looking for a sub 3 hour run :o but I aim to line up on the 5th. See you there. Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Simon Ho - 24-09-2008 I have yet to apply, you need to do so by 26/9 for your number to be posted or enter on the day for an extra £2. Does anyone know where it starts? The details on the site are a bit vague, a road name or post code would be good for the sat nav. Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Simon Ho - 25-09-2008 Thanks, should be easier to find a school than a meadow! My entry went in today. Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - ladyrunner - 26-09-2008 Welcome to the forum Simon. It's good to see that we have another new member. Can't make this race but it is a very good one to do. I have run it 2 or 3 times previously. Julie Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Simon Ho - 02-10-2008 Just had a warning about the parking, there will be none at the school or race start due to the council. Parking is at the County Hall car park St Annes Crescent (BN7 1UE), which is about 3/4 mile from the start. There is a shuttle bus between them from 9am - 11am, but nothing so far for the return journey after the race! Entries on the day are limited. Looking at last years results there were about 300 runners, I applied late and got 1,144. But I guess some of the numbers would be allocated to the 5 mile race. If anyone needs a lift from the Brighton area let me know. Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Sweder - 04-10-2008 Replied via PM. Have a great run! Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - ladyrunner - 06-10-2008 Gillybean You should remove your phone number from above as you might get all sorts of weirdo's phoning you. Julie Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - ladyrunner - 06-10-2008 So ..... how did you all get on?? Was it raining hard and muddy?? Hope we get good weather for the JSJ next weekend Lewes Downland 10 - 5th October - Sweder - 06-10-2008 Have no fear, Sweder's here . . . . . . or at least on Castle Hill with a bucket of Mars bars and a cheery wave! Bad runs come along now and again, there's no rhyme nor reason for them. Sometimes you just get out of bed the wrong way and it all seems a struggle. You've run that course enough times and you've been running well recently.
