I've just read this to Shayne and we are hooting with knowing laughter. She then said 'tell him I've waited a full week without watching one' (whilst I was at Excel). We squeezed three in last night but tonight - the horror! Brazil v Chile will intervene. I'd happily dump the Uruguay match but I'm desparate for them to go after their remarkable response to the Suarez ban. A restless day lies ahead.

Football..? TV..? Isn't it time we got back to proper subjects such as beer and running. Why you lot have been prattling on here this morning, myself and Rob (aka OutAlongTheRiver) have been running and swimming with, I am pleased to report, and in my case, a hangover from yesterday's five hour travelling beer fest. That's what real men do.
