Which is gramatically more correct? - Seafront Plodder - 12-02-2015

1. Count Fred and me in.

2. Count Fred and I in.

At first I thought it was 2, not so sure now.

p.s. there's a pint on this so any evidence appreciated. Big Grin

'Count Fred and myself in' would be the more correct response. Answers 1 & 2 would only ever be an appropriate response perhaps to some bogan golf piss-up outing invite.

Make mine a Harvey's.

Yes thank you MLCMM for answering a question I didn't ask. Dodgy

This is not golf or beer related, the name has been changed to protect the innocent.

Sorry OM, the brewery is not owned by Harvey, it's 'Harveys'.
I do appreciate that Autocorrect does not readily accept the fact.

'Count myself and Fred in' would seem to cover it, but as in all things grammatical I defer to m'learned friends El Gordo and Tom Roper.

Count Fred in. Count me in. Count Fred and me in.

Will someone just hurry up and tell Fred that it's his shout.

And that he's been made a count.

RE: Which is gramatically more correct? - El Gordo - 22-02-2015

Please include Fred and me.
