Eclipse of the moon - Nigel - 05-03-2007

We saw the lunar eclipse as we staggered home around 10.30 pm on Saturday evening.

Not a cloud in the sky either - perfect.

Then spent a few minutes explaining to the kids that the moon was in the Earth's shadow, and not the other way around. I'm not sure they believed me, so will have to get to work with the grapefruit, orange and table tennis ball when I get home.

But that's more than enough about that, I hear you say.
