FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 24-04-2009 Some of us unfortunates who can't run or support at the FLM would like to track as many RCers and JSJers as possible. Please post your runner numbers and names here so we can easily track you down. I'll be hunched in my dingy Montreal hotel room thrashing the useless intranet cable against the crumbling, kleenex-thin walls as, at the pre-dawn mercy of jetlag, I fight to access the web and follow the race online. Anyone wanting to track runners online or via a mobile can do so via the addidas site mentioned in MarathonDan's post here. D'you know, I'm getting quite excited and I literally couldn't be much further away from the race. Can't wait for the race reports . . . FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - marathondan - 25-04-2009 Marathondan = 44275 FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - The Beast of Bevendean - 25-04-2009 Sorry, just replied to this message in a different thread: 7665 for me, which must have some numerological significance. If anyone else is at the blue start, I'm in pen 6. And I'm wearing a black Seaford Striders vest with my name tastefully added on front and back. FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - steve scott - 25-04-2009 24957 that's my number, sounds like a great Toot's and the Maytels song. Good luck to everyone. FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 25-04-2009 Sorry Tom, I duplicated request as some only visit Jog Shop Jog section and others linger here. Thanks to all who've (bravely) posted their numbers. I plan to set up a live multi-screen on my laptop and watch it all unfold as the sun crests Mont Royal. A good plan I feel, possibly enhanced with a tall Bloody Mary and a tin of honey-roast peanuts Good luck to Suzie Q and the Canada Gang who I met at FLM Expo yesterday. They looked relaxed and in fine fettle. Enjoy the day everyone. FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Nick - 25-04-2009 8617 FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - El Gordo - 25-04-2009 Sorry, just posted fulsome Henry-V-on-eve-of-Agincourt-style rallying cry which appears to have been swallowed up by the annoyingly weedy wifi signal at this hotel. I was basically saying "good luck, and do your best" to all the FLM heroes and heroine. It's been great following your training, and thank you for keeping us updated. Now get out there and enjoy your reward. Will try to keep abreast though the race is on from 2am here, so may be too tired and emotional. Go get 'em guys. EG FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 26-04-2009 Addidas site sluggish, hotel wifi woeful. Here's what I've squeezed out of the site so far . . . Nick: 20K in 02:07:33 Stevio: 25K in 01:50:43 Dan: 21K in 01:56:29 Tom: 21K in 02:17:01 Will update when signal improves FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 26-04-2009 Steve Scott went througth 30K in 02:18:46 (stage start time). Bloody hell I know this is where Stevio cramps up usually - go on mate . . . I'm hopped up on caffine; it's 07:50 am in Montreal. I've got TSN on TV - mostly Ice Hockey - what's all that about? - just showed clips of United's come back (definite pen) followed by Carl Froche's incredible 12th round, last-gasp knock-out to reatain his world boxing title. I've got radio 5live streaming through the rubbish broadband and any number of barely functioning Addidas FLM tracker windows flickering perilously across my inadequate lap-top screen. I am Master of the Universe, but I need breakfast . . . FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 26-04-2009 Stevio in trouble: 5K in 02:51; that's over 20 mins for the last 5K. Come on mate, keep those legs moving . . . Can he keep that up? If he can he's going to crush 4 hours. Hardest part now . . . dig in Dan! Addidas tracker has crashed! I'm spitting feathers . . . More soon as and when, sorry guys . . . FLM numbers PLEASE!!! - Sweder - 26-04-2009 Steve Scott finished in 3:33:20 - well done mate! Looks like a tough 4th 10 but you kept it going. Great stuff. HUGE congratulations to El Tutu for what seems to have been a flawless run with metronomic splits. Can't wait to hear from the man himself later. More news on Nick and Tom to follow, plus other results as I can dig them out from the official finishing list.
