FLM announce 'strongest line-up' - Sweder - 23-01-2006
BBC online has reported David Bedford's announcement of 'the greatest ever' men's line-up for the Flora London Marathon in 2006.
Race director David Bedford told BBC Sport:
"Without doubt this is the greatest men's field ever assembled.
"Fingers crossed all the athletes turn up healthy and we'll have the greatest marathon the world has seen. There's a strong chance of a world record."
Looking at the list of entrants it's hard to argue with the Great Man.
Glad I'm not competing this year.
