I haven't run
For 2 weeks. There just always seems to be some reason why I don't get out. Work, gardening, beer stuff like that. I feel bloated, unfit and lethargic.

Still, I have entered my first ever 10k Eek The Bognor Prom road race on 16th May, very flat apparently. Judging by my previous training times I hope to break 50 minutes, so there are a few miles to put in between now and then.

Indeedydoody. It's good to have a goal.

Sorry mate, I missed this one. (Trouble with the training diaries is that I don't get emails telling me about new posts.)

Good news about entering the Bognor 10K. You need to keep yer hand in, as it were, with a few smaller races like this. 10Ks are a nice distance. 6.2 miles. Long enough to feel like a good run, short enough not to have to train particularly hard.

I'd say 50 minutes would be pretty good if you can manage it. In fact, it would be annoyingly good.

I very much doubt you could do it though.

That's the idea, RB...

No sign of rising to the bait yet though.

Come on, Andy S P. If you could do a half marathon in around two hours in spite of the wind against, you can do 10 km in less than 50 minutes.

Good luck!
