The haves and the Havant
Seen on a QPR fansite today:
21st April 2001 -- Huddersfield 2-1 QPR (the game that relegated us)
Our two strikers that day were Peter Crouch and Richard Paquette. The only game they started together. One went on to play for one of the biggest clubs in British (even world) football, and to represent England at the finals of the World Cup. The other dropped out of the football league and now works as a school caretaker. This weekend, all that goes out the window as they line up on opposite sides at Anfield. Crouch for Liverpool, Paquette for Havant and Waterlooville.
