My machine keeps prompting me to update to IE 7.

Do I want to do this? :o

Nah.

I use Mozilla Firefox and find it generally friendlier and less ugly than IE. People who claim to know about such things tell me it's much safer to use too, as the worm/virus/hacker types don't bother with Firefox.

Anyway, it works well for me.

I like IE7. Tabbed browsers. Takes a bit of getting used to, but much better.

I have used Firefox too, and like it, though it did have trouble with some websites (like Amazon) when I last used it, about a year ago. There's been a new version since, so this may have been sorted out.

You could install both, and compare them.
