Sunday. Carmen and Víctor took me to Costacabana where I started my long run at the sea front at 12.45 am. It was a wet day. It had drizzled a little before. It was a general elections and autonomous elections in Andalusia. I went along the promenade to take the road to the university and another sea front. Then, another road that takes to the promenade next to the beach in Almería. I saw a few runners and a lot of people walking. I decided to go on plodding along the beach for about one kilometre because it was difficult to run comfortably since there were many stalls and people strolling in that part of the sea front. I got to Almadrabillas park, where I usually start, in 62 minutes. Then, I took a one-minute break and continued to the lighthouse arriving there in 91 minutes. I took another walk break in minute 92 to continue towards a new pier that is being built where I was plodding for 15 minutes instead of going back since I thought I thought I wouldn´t be able to do 20 kms if I arrived at Almadrabillas park having to do do three more kilometres. Then, in minute 122 I took another walk break getting to my usual start point in minute 137. I continued along the sea front and some streets to do 146 minutes ( 2 hours 26 minutes ) and around 20 kilometres. I didn´t drink any water because I didn´t feel like carrying a strap with a pocket and a bottle of water but I wasn´t thirsty or hungry although I felt some discomfort in my right foot sole. By the way, according to the last vote counting there has been a landslide in favour of the partido socialista español, similar to the labour party. The last terrorist attack has probably had a great influence on this result since last week surveys gave partido popular, similar to the conservative party, the victory.
