Sounds heavenly, MLCM. I've recently been plodding up a canal towpath in Leeds on gloriously warm summer mornings, but it just doesn't feel as good as winter - seeing your breath in front of you, your ears stinging with cold, your feet slipping on ice patches on the pavements. It's true it isn't always comfortable while you're doing it, but the post-run euphoria is immense.

Roll on winter...
