Katy,

Congratulations on a fantastic performance. We checked the results earlier in the week -- I take it you know that you were 2nd in your class? (if such things matter to you)

Nice report as well -- "never quite up, but never quite all downhill either" perfectly describes those annoying stretches that we've all experienced, which look like they should be easy but somehow still drain your stamina.
