I'm 1,400 kilometres away in Adelaide at the moment, so I missed it, but apparently it was a doozy.

I guess you don't get too many dust storms in that part of the world, huh? They're not infrequent here, with lots of desert and open farm land for the westerlies and (particularly here in South Australia) hot northerlies to whip up and dump on the populated areas. They can be eerie and spectacular, but never any fun.

Meanwhile, here in Adealide this week it's cold, wet and particularly miserable. Dodgy
