[Sweder]

Thanks lads. I prefer the El Gordo way to the mean-spirited and unworkable Higdon dogma.
The dark moments may indeed herald the arrival of something long-term ... or they might just be payback for attacking a fearful distance with insufficient training at reckless speed. Whichever it turns out to be I'll get over it. I now have a decision to make about these particular outings. Like the race report I'll let that stew for a bit before making anything public.

For now it's over to Dan the Man and that hot date with the serpentine streets of London. I'll be there too, stationed as always at Mile 22-and-a-bit, sounding the trumpet for a record-breaking 190 JDRF runners, including 29 with type 1 diabetes, a world record I believe. We'll count them all out and count them all back again, even if I have to stand there for nine will-sapping hours to do so ....
