I see BW at small races now and again and the book should interest you from a writing and running perspective. I think you will like him and enjoy his take on things.

I think the way forward in the short term is walking. Not sure why I've not put more walking miles in here than I have. A few phases, but nothing very adventurous. I've spent ages on this excellent site in the past:
www.wanderland.ch, listing routes and places to explore. I'll do a bit, from this weekend. Seems a good way to start teasing some long hill miles into the old legs for a few weekends, and let's see where I end up. Maybe I can turn it into some running. For midweek, a mixture of possibilities. If I can stay positive for a couple of weeks, who knows?
