Football, football. There's football and then what I call proper football. What am I talking about... well Lewes Football Club obv.. Owned by its fans, it is the home of the real game... not a game tainted by money (it really isn't) nor the egos of overpaid idiot players... this is were the real action resides. And you get to drink the local brew on the terraces.
However, I can extend this ramble further. If you really want to experience good quality football, then the Lewes Ladies team is exceptional. Currently 2nd in the table having seen off West Ham and Cardiff and drawn with Cambridge. Helped along by sponsorship from yours truly and the Big Man.
Not only that, you can tune in each week via the delights of Twitter to the live commentary of @Rookmeister (aka @Sweder) for the action as it happens. And... you can read his match report afterwards. All this and it won't cost you a single penny.
Unless you want to be an owner of the club. That will cost you £30...
