I suspect more of us are increasingly using Facebook and (especially) Twitter to keep in touch with what's going on among the forumites. Whilst social media doesn't replace the ramblings and race reports of the RC forum, it does mean we're less likely to simply drop by to see what's going on, and therefore, by default, it becomes increasingly ... sparse.
