Well arrangements have been made to visit Sam's emporium tomorrow afternoon to swap great wadges of cash for some runners.

Can still squeeze into the shorts so come Thursday I'll definitely have no excuses.

My recent return to running enthusiasm was fed last week whilst staying at one of those country house hotels with a gym. With time to kill I thought I'd wobble away on the treddy for a few minutes to give the other gym users a laugh. Well bugger me if I didn't do 5k! Eek There were around 3 walk breaks to put my lungs back in and it wasn't pretty towards the end, but I was delighted with the distance considering my last run was getting on for 2 1/2 years ago now.
