US Election
It's half past midnight (UK time) on US election night.
Anyone up to help me pass the time?

Positive noises being made about Kerry. W.Virginia (usually nailed-on Republican) described as "too close to call".
Ladbrokes make Kerry 1/3 favourite.

Hmmm. All changed. Republicans now 2/5. Things swinging back their way.
I think I'll call it a day. I'm going to bed with the Bush nightmare to look forward to. Let's hope for a miracle.

Bush! That dankish spur-galled lout is but a Thatcher in disguise, an idol of idiot-worshippers. He hath worth no more than a stewed prune, stifled in his own report and smelling of calumny.
