Running Commentary's first publication!
OK here it is! The Running Diaries on sale now from your favourite bookseller ... provided that happens to be Amazon, of course. Just £15.95! And it's free postage in the UK!

Also available from U.S. Amazon of course.

And remember, all proceeds go to JDRF, so don't forget your friends and loved ones who might like a copy for Christmas etc!

Congratulations!!
All those years badgering EG to get a book out and you've gone and done it.
Bloody well done. I've just ordered 5 and posted a link on the Moyleman FB page.
I shall also tweet into the ether, for what that's worth.

Very, very proud to know you mate.

Also fired that link out to my JDRF Committee members, some of whom are well connected in the sports journalism world. You never know ...

Nice work MLC - I have ordered a copy which you can sign when you are next over this way...

I am taking the view that if I want to read it 5 times, I don't need to buy 5 copies but just simply read the same copy again.

Shame Sweder didn't think of that.   Big Grin

Yay! Looks like you'll get your copy before I get mine (other than the mistake-riddled proof copy that is). Enjoy!

Cheers Tom, thanks very much - hope you enjoy it and don't find too much literary offence in there. Interestingly, I ran part of it through the Hemingway Editor app today and it wasn't very impressed. Too many long sentences and way too many adverbs for its liking. Oddly though (a phrase it would hate) it didn't much like Hemingway's writing either when I tested some of it!

Too late now to appease the writing bots anyhow - it's damn well published and will remain that way.

Christ, remind me never to dump any of my stuff into that contraption. It may just implode.

RE: Running Commentary's first publication!
There's a local freebie magazine that lands on the doormat each month called 'Seaford Scene', to my knowledge no one reads it because it's full of adverts.

They have a section called "Who's who in Seaford?", and as we had our Bonfire Night towards the end of October the editor approached me to be in the November edition....I am after all a Big Cheese in the local Bonfire Society. Blush

Well now it's available online... http://issuu.com/seafordscene/docs/ss_nov_15_web  Go to page 37 and you'll see apparently I'm currently reading MLCM's running tome.

Undoubtedly you've noticed the spike in sales as a result MLC..?  Big Grin

Funny you should post that. I just took a call from Eric Clapton who has also seen a spike in sales and was wondering if your plug in Seaford Scene was the cause. Now there can be no doubt. It's just a shame BB King is no longer around to enjoy the spoils as well.

Cheers SP.
