Diary of an injured runner

RE: Diary of an injured runner
Approaching the moment when I start running again.
Why should I even want to start running again?
If I’m honest I haven’t missed it at all.
I could carry on for another 4 runless months and not even notice.
It’s not like football.
Even if I see a bunch of kids playing footie in the park I want to join in.
But if I see a bunch of sweaty folk racing or training I generally think “poor sods …glad it’s not me.”
So why oh why do I run?
The eternal question.
I run because I can, I run because I ran.
But to run is not always fun.
So, here we go again.  Big Grin

And so succinctly put,
Should leave you fleet of foot.
Run. Just run.

Does this strike a chord?

Running until it hurts
