June.To run or not to run?
Hopped across the river and onto Monte Pajariel. Joined up with a barechested runner on the first slopes of the Toral trail. Rarely run accompanied on Pajariel and I probably went a shade too fast.
The hillside is still beautiful. The white rockrose has had its moment of glory and purple foxgloves now take centre stage. Struggled back from Toral de Merayo along the country lanes. Its hot and breezeless. Tried to imagine the last 10k of the Toral de los Vados marathon in this heat. Couldn’t.
45 minutes.
