my next marathon

so i've signed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to run the Marine Corps Marathon in DC on October 26. Am excited! Have raised $70 of the $3400 I have to raise...ouch! But I haven't really started fundraising yet so I can't complain.

Yay!

Great news, Pam. And a strange coincidence as I'm planning on doing the Dublin Marathon the day after you (it happens on a holiday Monday). We'll have to compare our progress.

Just at the moment I'm not feeling very marathonish. I've just eaten a gigantic plate of fish and chips. It was piled so high with chips that there are grease marks on the ceiling.

But what the hell? I decided that you have to have the occasional treat to make life worth living.

No problem with the charity plug. I'll definitely sponsor you, and I'm sure that many others will too.
