No Running to Report, but.....
I'm full of the endorphin high that followed the County Over 45 double semi-finals, where my partner and I played like gods tonight to win 6-4, 6-3 against a pair of whippersnappers who have just turned 45. One of whom is the head coach at Horsham Tennis club.
So we're defending our County title then, Sunday 19 Sept, all welcome.
Overdosed on core fitness work tonight. If only I could be arsed to pull on the runners.

Congrats old man, a fine effort. But do put on the runners sometime soon, won't you? You know it's good cross training for tennis of course?

Great stuff lardy. Looking forward to whooping your butt at Seaford Head on Monday (as if). Thank God it's not tennis ...
19th you say? That's eminently doable ...
The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph

RE: No Running to Report, but.....
Sadly the wheels fell off in my attempt to retain the Sussex over 45 title.
My partner and I cruised through the first set 6-2, but unfortunately we didn't capitalise and went down in 3.
Ho hum. Still, suppose we finished second...

In that respect you have quite a lot in common with Andy Murray then?
Well done both of you!
