Oh. I was hoping for a rather more succinct review.
Run. Just run.

Saw it last week. Agree it's very good but no better than the original IMO. I like Fincher as a director but Daniel Craig mumbles throughout to mask his inability to go Full Swede (as all others manage to do, including an excellent Christopher Plummer). Rooney Mara is excellent as Salander - I worried most about this part as Noomi Rapace had done such an astonishing job in the original films. Cinematography is breathtaking too.

Looking forward to seeing The Artist next week. Also watch out for The Skin I Live In by Pedro Almodovar. Antonio Banderas is ... well, just watch it. It's not his usual schtick, that much is certain.

The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph

I really enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I did think Daniel Craig's accent could use some work, but overall I thought he was well cast - more believable that girls would fall for him than with the guy in the Swedish movies. A few changes compared to the book, but quite well done.
