The Red Lion: a play by Patrick Marber

We have tickets for 31st July at The National Theatre.
Having shared a terrace and a few half-time cuppas (and knowing glances, and gentle shakes of the head) with the playwrite I am, of course, excited. All the more so for having read this review. Well done, Marbs.

RE: The Red Lion
Went along to this on Friday and was blown away. Stunning performances deliveried a script that tickled and teased, then slapped and shocked the National audience. A piercing cry in the dark against those who plunder and corrupt our beautiful game. By pure dumb luck I secured the best seat in the house. Mrs S came along. Despite not having a clue about the source material or being privvy to several delicious winks and nods, she loved it.
