40?

Man, that is just so depressing. This is it buddy. The end of the road.

Drop by and say farewell, before you top yourself.

The nice thing about being over the hill is it's all down hill from here . . .

40? Do we let people that young in here?

Either way, happy birthday g-man. Bask in the knowledge that from hereon no-one expects you to ever run fast or far again.

And may you prove them wrong. Smile
Run. Just run.

Chaps;

Thanks very much. It creeps up on you doesn't it? 40 all-of-a-sudden. Bugger.

Had a pretty low-key but nonetheless enjoyable birthday. I only had one pint because I've got man-flu. But it was a pint of Timothy Taylor's Golden Best.

I had some crazy plan to pass this milestone pumped with running and other physical pursuits. But that hasn't happened.

Time to hatch another plan. And so it goes on ...

cheers to you all.

Thanks SW.

The plan. Well, it doesn't involve any running at the moment. But it does involve dusting my road bike down, putting some slightly wider tyres on and getting to work on it a couple of times a week, mostly off-road.

Which I've done.

The fact that I have numerous types of motorised transport to get myself there doesn't make things easy. But if I give myself enough time then the route is a very pleasant one.

I must take some snaps one morning and post them.
