Hmm, no it shouldn't be doing anything too weird. Try maximising the screen to see if that sorts it. Also, if you're using IE7, what's the zoom setting (the magnifying glass in the bottom right of the screen)? Click on that to get it to100% again. If that fails, just try exiting the browser and going back in.
