Up For it Sunday
Hi y'all
I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread just to sign up to the coming Sunday run. This makes it far easier for old gits of my generation - when thread was nearly always preceeded by needle and - to see who is running without having to trawl through all the general stuff. Perhaps one of the wise and powerful could delete the posts or start a new thread each week?

most cordial regards
rog

ps I'm up for it this Sunday 21st

Rog, you old luddite Big Grin
Yes, a new thread for each run works just fine. No need to delete the old ones . . . they will automatically move down the list of threads as new ones appear.

Have fun on Sunday. I'll be returning from the wilds of Glasgee, but will be up for a blast the following weekend (Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday). There's talk of a possible Lewes to Ditchling trot then.

Cheers
Ash

Hiya All

Following Funky fish night on the 27th, my suggestion was a Lewes run on Ash's
home turf on the Bank Holiday Monday. Giving us a lay in Sunday morning.

See what the general concensus is.

Good Morning Lopers and Plodders
A timely posting for next week's run.
I would be up for the Lewes run on Monday. Any ideas where we would meet for that Chris?
Presumably a residences run from the Marina on the Sunday is still a possiblity for those who can't make Monday. Or those lively souls who would like to celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend with some back to back running

Hi Gary.
It's really not too bad once you get the hang of it . . .
This section of the site (Jog Shop Joggers) is set up for we Brightonians to communicate with each other about forthcoming runs. You can add to a 'thread' (linked series of 'posts') by clicking on the 'Post Reply' button at the end of the latest post. If you wish to start a new topic ('thread') you can do this by clicking on 'Jog Shop Joggers' at the top of this page and clicking on 'New Thread' - then off you go.

There's no hard or fast rules about this - we can form threads based on months (as some of us do in our training diaries) on each weekly run (as I did with your recent post about this Sunday) or keep rolling on with one long thread.

Anyway, it looks like I won't be joining you this Sunday as I plan to bowl over to Seaford and join in the half marathon fun at 9am. You can enter on the day (£8), there are medals for all finishers and it'll be a good hilly offroader to boot. Here's the link to the organisers' website for more details.

Hi folks,

I won't be doing this run on Sunday. As a precaution to having a bbq Saturday evening, I am going to run Saturday morning instead. If anybody would like to join me, we can meet in the normal place or we could run my eight mile shambles.

I've received my running number 275 for the Bewl 15 miler next weekend, so perhaps a few of us can go together.

Hope you're now well Ash and look forward to running with you again.

Cheers,

Rog

Hi Rog, I'll be back before you know it.
Just getting back into it this week so I'll be doing a local shortie this weekend and missing Bewl. Hope to back on the Sunday runs by the end of the month.
Take care and enjoy the Barbie.

Cheers
Ash

I'll be out on Sunday. Still haven't got my number for Bewl, phoned them last night and will demand entry on the day if I have to. So much for applying online !. Will catch you next week Rog - for a possible lift. Enjoy your bbq tonight.

Cheers Gary very kind. It seems that its going to be a hot one, but what the heck a lot of water to cool off in afterwards and there's always the Greyhound pub at the finnish line.
There are still places I believe so if anybody else is up for it we will be leaving Brighton around 9:00
