Only if you plan to push me round in a bathchair Ladyrunner I fear an outing over that lumpy lunar landscape at this stage would bring my dubious running 'career' to a hobbling, wobbling end. Best I jog to the Wire with Si. Best of luck though Jules; lovely race that. Bewlastic 14.2 miles - Gillybean831 - 28-04-2009 Could i ? Would i ! Should i !!! IVE ENTERED!!! How did that happen! Ladyrunner - have a good 3 forts run Bewlastic 14.2 miles - ladyrunner - 29-04-2009 Enjoy your run out to the wire and back boys. GB if you get stuck for a lift drop me a text. Maybe see some of you at Hove Park on Saturday, but I will be marshalling as I want to rest my legs for Sunday. See if I can beat last years race time!! Julie Bewlastic 14.2 miles - msilv - 01-05-2009 To all the 3 Forts runners, have a good run. Bewlastic 14.2 miles - Sweder - 01-05-2009 Aye, well said Msilv - wish I was going with y'all. BHTT tomorrow - let joy be unconfined :o Bewlastic 14.2 miles - ladyrunner - 01-05-2009 Thank you guys. Let's hope we are blessed with some good weather like last year. Julie Bewlastic 14.2 miles - ladyrunner - 04-05-2009 I have just had an email from Albert Kemp the Bewl race organiser. When I entered the race online I meantioned that a group of us from Brighton are running the race in memory of Chris and that we will be wearing Purple ribbons/clothing. I also said that the Bewl race was one of Chris' favourites. Albert has just emailed to say that he will be holding a minutes silence before the start in memory of Chris. BTW - Ebay search tips for race wear: purple lycra shorts (£12.99 +free postage, for ladies cycle shorts - sure these are suitable for men too in a larger size). Also, purple sweat bands (£1.99 + £1.50 postage). I've ordered mine and will model them at the 5k in two weeks time. Julie Bewlastic 14.2 miles - Sweder - 04-05-2009 That's very thoughtful of the organsers, nice work Jules. Good news re purple togs too; a few folks have asked about purple procurement & this news will come in handy. Bewlastic 14.2 miles - Simon Ho - 07-05-2009 Sorry guys, I'm going to have to drop out. I've double booked myself for that weekend. Hope you all have a great run! |
