This is an excellent, superbly organised race and I received my mail pack this morning for next year's event on 14th March 2004. Race details are on http://www.runninghigh.co.uk
Online application will be working from 1st September. The race sold out in 4 weeks last year, so there's no time to waste and I have already posted my application form.
For a report on the 2003 race, see the thread on page 2 below. The 2004 race will have chip timing - even better.
Thanks Nigel. I received some info this morning too, and have resolved to enter again, after having to pull out through injury this year.
It seems like a long time in advance to be entering for a half, but as you say it sells out quickly. It was the previous year that it sold out within a month, This year's race was, I believe, filled in just a week or two.
Griff - You've been warned!
Cheers
Andy

See you there Nigel. I'm hoping for better luck next year with these halfs. I've had to pull out of both Bath and Bristil this year.
Next year I guess Reading will be the week before again. Will decide nearer the time whether to do Reading. After Silverstone then Reading this year, on two successive Sundays, I got injured so had resolved to avoid back-to-back races. Will see. Reading is my local event so I feel I should do that one too.

The Bath Half site has now published a PDF of the successful entrants so far. I'm in, and so is Griff. No mention of Nigel yet though it does say that not all the postal entries have yet been added to the list. But if you're reading this Nigel, you may want to check that they've had your entry.

Thanks for that Andy. I was a bit surprised that I was in because I did leave it til lunchtime on the Monday to register, and, according to the text on the BHM site, only registrations up to 10:00am were on the list.
A friend of mine who was inspired by my Bristol effort (or so he says) seems to have gone into the ballot. Maybe they checked me against this year's entrants, although I don't remember filling anything out on the form!
Are you doing Reading beforehand (I haven't checked the date) or do you know of any 10 miler or 10k we could warm up with in the month prior?
I don't think any "well done" is due, Griff, but thanks anyway. I just pottered round, at pretty much the speed I'd have wandered round the garden centre.
Just about to upload my full weekend report.
See you in Bath,
Andy

Did you do something with the navigation on the site. This morning when I click on a link in the nav menu, it opens the link frame only. What I mean is that the menu disappears.
Thanks for reminding me a few weeks back, Andy. It has taken a few e-mails since then, but now I'm finally in the race, and looking forward to another excellent day in Bath.
