OK, OK, I know, it looks weird.

The software is the same (vBulletin) - I just upgraded from an old version to the latest one, which has actually been out for several months now.

I now have to wok out how to customise certain things, but please bear with me. It might take a while.

In the meantime, I'm assuming that there are plenty of enhancements, so please do a bit of exploration, and tell me if you find anything interesting.

Am I allowed to say I don't like this version?

Don't think I like it either or does it just take time to get used to it.

I don't like it much either. A bit too bland. I've got a day off tomorrow, so am planning to look up the way of getting back the look of the old one but keeping the functionality of the new, as has been mentioned. So hang on in there, guys, and I'll try and sort it.

Somewhat less than stunning, I'd have to agree. Is it the lack of alcohol or the threat of another few years of Bush that's done it to you Andy?

Done what to me, old chap? The look of the forum?

I downloaded and installed the latest version of the forum software, and this is what the default version looks like. I'll try to restore the old look tomorrow.

I've made a cock-up.

Managed to delete all the icons. Bear with me. It might have to wait till I get home again.

I've you click on the "Archive" link at the bottom of the forum, you get a pda friendly version of the forum.

Any luck with the custom avatar query, Andy?

Sorry Griff, I've been away all week as usual. Will try to get that sorted this weekend without fail.

Anyone else having trouble creating an avatar?

I'm having trouble understanding why MLC Man has Alan Rickman as his avatar. Big Grin
