'After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain ... '

The desert above Almería is one of the driest places on Earth. And it rained.
But I'll tell you what - it didn't matter.

Wonderful report, SW! It makes me relive it. It happened just one week ago. Today it is a wondeful sunny day. The temperature indicator at Avenida del Mediterráneo showed 24º Celsius at nearly 3 pm. I also enjoyed the run a lot and the post run at Pub La Tana.

I´ll keep you informed when the race is organised again. It would be wonderful if you could take part in it.

Saludos desde Almería

Antonio

I don't think there's much chance of me doing the race but I definitely think the Desert Run should become part of the weekend next year.

Excellent stuff! Well done everybody. Particularly liked the idea of you lot as The Blues Brothers "putting the band back together". Which one of you played John Belushi?
