I can confidently state that I will never make it to Boston, but congratulations if you can - whatever your age. I have on e of Hal Higdon's paintings hanging in my hallway. I bought it from him when we went to Chicago. It shows Clarence Demar winning Boston for the 7th time.
Perhaps I'll at least get over to spectate one day.
FJS - you're right of course. Motivation and goals is what this game is all about. Unfortunately I'm not very good at hitting mine on my own, which is one of the reasons I just joined a running club. I decided that a bit of help was required, and some company on this journey.
Most of the year I envy you Californians your climate, but we've now entered the one month of the year when I would want to be nowhere else than here. It's perfect running weather.
