Six weeks to Toral 2005
As I recall, wasn't it a last minute goal by West Ham against Wigan which got Palace into the play-offs last year, and then into the Premiership by way of beating West Ham ?

Shame to see Palace and Norwich go straight back down. Meanwhile, Wigan are going the other way, whilst West Brom survive by the merest whisker. It's evolving into a trapdoor system, and we certainly seem to pick 'em round here, don't we ?

Still, on the positive side, there's exactly zero chance of the Irons, the Eagles or even the Baggies ever being taken over by a Florida billionaire. Indeed it would be less of a debt mountain than an entire range of despair mountains to overcome in the case of those particular transactions ....
