Sorry Andy, I tried to locate your photos on Runners World but being arare visitor to that realm I got horribly lost amongst the myriad of posts about runners looking for single men, fat girls run too and the like.

Can you give me a hint as to which thread to look for?

This is getting very confusing....

I didn't post any photos on RW. Just a message seeking advice on the shoe question. In the "Gear" forum. The advice received was basically, stick with the shoes I've been using, even if they are past their prime.
