City of Norwich Half Marahon

Sampedro, it seems to be organised by City of Norwich Athletic Club but according to this the 2006 date isn't set yet. The club's report of the 2005 event is here. There doesn't seem to be much information on past or future events on the Runner's World forum. It may be worth emailing the club?

Hi Sampedro

I did the Norwich half in July 2004. It's a really good race from my point of view. About 1,000 runners or so on a 2 lap course. Start/finish at Norfolk Showground and mainly country roads (despite the name). There is a climb into the showground each lap, but your supporters get the chance to see you half way through and give you a boost!

I set a PB there at the time, despite hot conditions. Very well organised in my opinion. Plenty of parking, marshalls etc. Generally one of the best races I've attended.

Hope that helps. Provided FLM doesn't kill me in April, I'll give it a blast meself so see you there.

JP, it is a friend of mine not me who wants to run this half. This year I am too busy to travel abroad for a race but next year will be different, I am planning to run the FLM 2007 .
